The Emperor's New Robe
Use the examples below to design and colour a new robe for an Emperor. The template for the robe can be downloaded by clicking on the image of the robe below.
You will use the symbols as a guide for your own drawing.
Be mindful of the meaning of each symbol and write a short explanation as to why the Emperor would choose your robe design to wear.
Think about the main design, the edging and colour. Colour was very important to the ancient Chinese so ensure you have the right colour for the symbols you have chosen (we did this in class, remember).
